I graduated from Moorpark College's EATM program with an Associates Degree in exotic animal training. I have trained and handled a wide variety of wild and domestic animals for movie/TV, zoos, wildlife education and dog training for over 30 years. I am certified-KA by CCPDT, and am also a certified Family Dog Mediator through Kim Brophey's LEGS model for behavior modification. My experience caring for wild captive animals and all the facets of the different species' mental and physical needs has influenced heavily how I approach the relationship of the family dog's needs. I enjoy teaching pet parents how to have understanding of the dog's needs as well as how to communicate and build trust with the dog in their life.
