As a passionate and dedicated veterinary animal chiropractor with my business Paws in Motion AZ, I, Wendi Wiess, bring over two decades of expertise to the Phoenix area. My journey began with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Cleveland Chiropractic in Los Angeles, and since 2001, I have been a Certified Veterinary Chiropractitioner (CVCP). My extensive qualifications also include being an Advanced Animal Acupressurist and Massage Therapist (AAAMT) and a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (CESMT). Additionally, I am certified in American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR, ensuring your pets are in safe and knowledgeable hands. My commitment is to address health and mobility issues in dogs, cats, and horses with precision and care.
I provide tailored chiropractic care and therapeutic treatments designed to enhance the well-being of your pets. With services like massage, stretching, acupressure, and chiropractic adjustments, I focus on alleviating conditions such as hip dysplasia and lameness, particularly in dogs. My personal experience witnessing the remarkable benefits these therapies brought to my own dog fuels my dedication to delivering the same relief and improved quality of life to your furry companions. Whether your goal is to improve mobility in a senior cat or boost performance in a competitive horse, I am here to support your pet's health journey with expertise and compassion.

I offer convenient mobile services within the Phoenix area, ensuring that your pet's wellness care is both accessible and stress-free. My flexible 48-hour cancellation policy provides peace of mind while scheduling appointments. If you're eager to help your pet thrive and live their best life, I'm ready to assist. Muscular Release and Adjustment
$ 179.00 Per 45 minutes book

Manipulations of an Animal’s spine is best when releasing the tight muscles that surround the area in order for the adjustment to hold. Muscular Imbalances lead to the muscles twisting and pulling the spine out of place which will impinge the associated nerve. This can lead to lameness, pain or even diseases with your Pet. When the muscles are released and stretched, they are able to relax creating more range of motion, less pain and the relief they need. I like to focus on the applied kinesiology aspect & acupuncture meridians with animals. It is common for animals to have muscular knots inhibiting their activity levels, just as humans have knots that inhibit nerve innervation. By releasing these stubborn muscles, and increasing the range of motion, it will lead to a better quality of life for your animal while holding the adjustment in place for longer Periods of time, assisting with pain relief and reducing the nerve impingement.
A Travel fee will be assessed for mobile visits.

Muscular Rehabilitation & chiropractic manipulations
$ 179.00 Per 45 minutes book

I spend more time with your Pet to make sure the issue at hand is resolved. Incorporated treatments consist of muscular release techniques bounded together for optimal results. Acupressure meridians prove to be essential for animal healing. Chiropractic manipulations are administered after the muscles relax. Treatment to the body as a whole so everything is in place with every joint in your pet to maintain and hold the manipulation in place & give your pet some relief.

How did you hone your craft?

After my dog became lame, I wanted to learn exactly how to help him. I took a CVCP/VOM certifiation class under Dr. william Inman, who taught me everything that I needed to know about Dogs & Horses anatomical structure, spinal issues, and specializing in animal lameness. While learning about Acupuncture Meridians, animal muscular rehabilitation, muscular imbalances and massage , I am able to combine all these techniques into a very productive treatment for your beloved pet. Animals are very resilent when treating them with this treatment plan. You will see noticeable improvement just after the first visit.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Patience, although you will see improvement in your pet, sometimes, it does take a few visits for your pet to fully improve. Stretching is just as a necessity for animals as it is in humans. Stretches are also performed during the Rehabilitative visits.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

Once I found out My dog had cancer, he became lame with a hard time gaining mobility. I knew with my holistic background, I could improve his quality of life by cold lasers, chiropractic adjustments, and neurological treatments. He was able to walk again after 3 treatments. When we returned to the vet for a another scan, the cancer was nowhere to be found. Chiropractic for animals is truly a must for the best quality of life and longevity. I have 3 dogs myself that get Rehabilitative work regularly. I love all sorts of animals and truly find that with these animals that improving their quality of life is rewarding and fulfilling that I am able to utilize my animal rehabilitation knowledge to help these animals live a pain free life.
