Certified Pet Loss Grief Counseling - Nationwide

Member since Jan 2026

Of the many types of relationships that I specialize in, the one dearest to my heart is the relationship between dog and human. With our beloved animals, there exists a special bond that many people are fortunate enough to experience in their lives. Out of this special attachment comes pure joy, but it can also lead to wrenching heartache.

Having both personal and professional experience with pet loss grief, I want to assure you that you are not alone. I have personally navigated and worked through the difficult emotions associated with losing my beloved companions.

As a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts, certified in Pet Loss Grief, I am passionate about serving others, young and older, who might need support after losing their furry friend. Through telehealth sessions, I provide unconditional warmth, compassion, and empathy, creating a safe space for you to share your story and gain support as you navigate the next steps in your healing journey.

Sessions are offered via secure telehealth. I accept select insurance plans, and also offer self-pay options.

Please contact and book me on PetWorks. I'm here for you. Thank you so much.

Education

Furthering my education in Psychology was my next coure of action. I graduated from Springfield College with a Master's Degree in Art Therapy/Counseling, and in 2015 I earned a license as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. Over the past 12 years, supporting individuals with emotional challenges within the community and private practice, has equipped me with experience, knowlege and competency in the mental health field. It wasn't until recent, that Grief has become the focal point of my practice. Due to personal life experience that came with the death of my dog, a passion to understand bereavement on a deeper level, and the fact that pet loss is often invalidated, I furthered my credentials. I trained and became specialized in Pet Loss Grief. Being a lifelong learner, by January 2026, I will have earned certification as a Grief Educator from one of the most well known and respected experts in the field of Death and Grieving: David Kessler.Masters in Art Therapy/Counseling (Springfield College)

Which part of the country do you serve pets?

I'm also available from anywhere in the United States via virtual consultations on PetWorks.

What year did you begin serving pets?

I earned my license as a mental health clinician (LMHC) in 2015, and recently chose to dedicate my practice more intentionally to pet loss grief, bringing years of clinical experience into this specialized work.
