Canine Nutrition Consultant | Trusted Guidance - Raymond, ME
Your pet’s nutrition shouldn’t feel confusing, overwhelming, or full of guesswork.
Whether you’re navigating digestive issues, food sensitivities, chronic itching, weight concerns, skin problems, supporting a pet with a veterinarian-diagnosed health condition, or simply wanting a more personalized approach to nutrition, I provide thoughtful, individualized guidance tailored to your pet’s unique needs, and when appropriate, work collaboratively alongside your veterinarian.
My goal is to help you feel confident in what you’re feeding, supported in the choices you make, and empowered with practical nutrition guidance that feels realistic for everyday life.
With over 15 years of experience in the pet industry, certifications in canine nutrition (CPCN, PNCC), additional training in animal naturopathy, and ongoing advanced education in canine and feline nutrition through Southern Illinois University, I help pet parents create balanced, sustainable nutrition plans
I specialize in one on one canine nutrition consultations, balanced fresh and raw food formulation, homemade meal guidance, and thoughtful commercial food recommendations. I believe nutrition should feel approachable and manageable, not stressful or restrictive, which is why my recommendations are always tailored to your pet, your goals, and your lifestyle.
I frequently support pet parents navigating digestive upset, GI sensitivity and IBD support, food intolerances, chronic allergy-related concerns, healthy weight management, safe diet transitions, mobility support, skin and coat health and more.
To help you feel informed and confident, I also offer educational guidance including food label decoding, supplement support, and assistance with building nutritionally balanced homemade meals. My approach focuses on whole-food nutrition, practical solutions, and helping you understand the why behind the recommendations so you can make informed decisions for your pet moving forward.
While dogs are my primary focus, I also work with cats and may be able to provide support for other species on a case by case basis.
In addition to nutrition support, I also provide guidance on natural wellness approaches, including supportive supplement recommendations and holistic flea, tick, and parasite prevention strategies where appropriate.
Whether you’re looking to improve your pet’s long-term health, work through specific dietary concerns, transition to fresh feeding, or simply want trusted guidance from someone who understands how overwhelming pet nutrition advice can feel, I’m here to help.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or simply wanting trusted guidance for your pet’s nutrition and overall wellness, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to help you make informed, confident choices for your pet.
Mobile appointments are available within my travel radius, and virtual consultations by phone or video make it easy to connect no matter where you’re located.

How did you hone your craft?
I’ve honed my craft through a combination of formal education and hands-on experience. I’m a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist (CPCN) and Certified Pet Nutrition Coach (PNCC), with additional training in animal naturopathy and advanced canine nutrition, and I continue to study evidence-based, species-appropriate feeding practices. Most importantly, I’ve spent years formulating fresh and raw diets for my own dogs and clients, learning firsthand how real food can support digestion, mobility, skin health, and overall longevity.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Start simple and focus on real food. You don’t have to be perfect overnight — even small upgrades like adding fresh whole foods or reducing highly processed ingredients can make a big difference. Consistency and balance matter more than chasing trends, and your dog’s body will tell you what’s working.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I treat every dog like my own. My approach is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and never one-size-fits-all. I genuinely care about helping families feel confident and supported, not overwhelmed, and I’m always here to guide you step-by-step through the process.
