With over 15 years of experience in the pet industry, certifications in canine nutrition (CPCN, PNCC), additional training in animal naturopathy, and ongoing advanced education in canine and feline nutrition through Southern Illinois University, I provide one-on-one nutrition consultations, balanced fresh and raw food formulation, nutritionally balanced homemade meal development, commercial food evaluations, diet transition support, and supplement guidance. When appropriate, I am also happy to work collaboratively alongside your veterinarian.
I frequently work with pets experiencing digestive concerns, food sensitivities, chronic itching, skin and coat issues, weight management challenges, mobility concerns, GI sensitivity, IBD support needs, and other nutrition-related health challenges. I also work with healthy pets whose families simply want to take a proactive approach to nutrition and long-term wellness.
One of the most important parts of my work is education. I help pet parents understand food labels, evaluate ingredients, build balanced homemade meals, and better understand the role nutrition plays in their pet’s overall health. My goal is not only to provide recommendations, but to help you understand the reasoning behind them.
While dogs are my primary focus, I also work with cats and may be able to provide support for other species on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to nutrition services, I offer guidance on supportive wellness strategies, including supplement recommendations and holistic approaches to flea, tick, and parasite prevention and detoxification when appropriate.
I believe nutrition should feel approachable and sustainable rather than stressful or restrictive. There is no single perfect diet for every pet, which is why I focus on realistic solutions that work for the individual animal in front of me and the family caring for them.

This service is designed to follow an initial consult so I can build your pet’s plan with a full understanding of their unique needs. It also includes a 15-minute follow-up video or phone call to review the recipe, answer questions, and help you feel confident putting the plan into practice.
This 30-minute video or phone follow-up session is for existing clients after their initial consultation. We’ll review your dog’s progress, make any needed adjustments, and support you through diet changes or questions that come up.

Most importantly, I’ve spent years formulating fresh and raw diets for my own dogs and clients, learning firsthand how real food can support digestion, mobility, skin health, and overall longevity.

Start simple and focus on real food. You don’t have to be perfect overnight — even small upgrades like adding fresh whole foods or reducing highly processed ingredients can make a big difference. Consistency and balance matter more than chasing trends, and your dog’s body will tell you what’s working.
