Hello from Pamela! I am a dedicated professional dog trainer with over nine years owning my own business. I am also licensed and insured. In 2008, I began working with our local shelters, rescues, and fostering. I am a volunteer and instructor for FLSARC, working with cruelty cases and natural disasters. I specialize in providing personalized training sessions tailored to your dog's needs, private in your home or out in a public setting. I studied with Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer (ABCDT) and a Certified Service Dog Trainer (ABCSDT). Also, a Nutrician Coach as well as credentials and certifications like the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Approved Evaluator (AKC CGC), (AKCA), and Fear Free Certified Professional, and APDTI. I bring a wealth of expertise to every session. My comprehensive offerings include private in-home training for all ages, covering essential skills such as leash work, fear/anxiety, behavior modification, puppy kindergarten, group classes, therapy dog prep, and new baby and me. Whether you're preparing for a new puppy or addressing problem behaviors with your dog, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

My Puppy Kindergarten course is a 5-week private program designed to set your little one up for success from the start. This program covers everything from potty and crate training, basic foundation skills, age-appropriate and leash acclimation, and it’s crafted to build a strong foundation using positive reinforcement techniques. I work with all breeds and all ages. I offer AKC group classes in North Tampa, working with dogs around distractions. Holding certifications in Pet First Aid and CPR from the American Red Cross, I prioritize your pet while ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment for both of you.

I pride myself on turning everyday challenges into opportunities for growth, helping you and your furry companion with more rewarding outings together. I also offer evaluations and assessments for rescues and conduct risk assessments for children's services in foster care. I am equipped to handle a broad spectrum of pet-related scenarios.

Customer Reviews

Pamela was recommended by a friend involved with one of the local SPCA shelters. Her exact words “this is the only trainer I would recommend” and now I know why. Pamela has helped my dog through many stages and I have seen tremendous results. I also love that she offers individual sessions as any concerns or issues arise. Forever grateful to have found Pamela!!

I used Pamela all summer to help me with my puppy learn basic obedience. Watching him grow and understand my expectations for him have made him so happy and so enjoyable. He has come a long way; and so have I with understanding how dogs work and the various phases puppies go through. She is like a fairy Godmother to pups and is so amazingly patient with pups. Definitely won’t go wrong having her in your corner. - Tampa, FL - July 2025
