A Different Way to Train - Somerville, TN
Two Dogs Diverged LLC provides individualized dog training designed around the dog, the person, and the life they actually live together. Serving the greater Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee areas, we work with puppies, adolescent and adult companion dogs, service dog teams, and dogs with more complex training or behavioral needs.
Our approach moves beyond one-size-fits-all obedience programs. Training may include puppy development, household manners, communication and foundational skills, grooming and veterinary handling, rescue and transition support, reactivity and behavior modification, scent work, service dog development, task training, and public access preparation.
Programs are structured to give both dogs and their people time to learn. Rather than compressing training into long consecutive days, we intentionally alternate hands-on training with implementation, practice, rest, and decompression. Sessions are based on what is productive for the individual dog—not an arbitrary amount of time spent drilling behaviors.
Owners remain an active part of the process because lasting training has to work after the trainer leaves. Our goal is not simply to produce behaviors for a lesson or demonstration, but to help build communication, understanding, and practical skills that transfer into everyday life.
