Nina Parker

Let's face it anyone who has had professional head shots understands that the poses don't always feel natural. Nina does a fantastic job making you feel at ease and guides you along each pose. Nina is great with humans and dogs :) I even had her take a headshot of my dog Charley..

Nina did the photo shoot for my dog and family. We found out that my yorkie has terminal cancer and not much time left with us, so I wanted to do some portraits of her and of us together. I was very nervous, however, because she is terrible with people. I looked at many different people online and settled on Nina. She understood the urgency of our need and I was so lucky that she agreed to come to our house that weekend. All of my worries melted away when Nina arrived. My dog (and we) felt totally comfortable with her. She is just that kind of person. She is a total professional and her pictures are gorgeous. When I saw them I couldn’t choose which ones to include and exclude- they were all amazing. When she sent me the album to proof, I had no changes- I don’t think that’s ever happened- and I have ordered and worked with a lot of photographers. I highly recommend Nina. I am so glad I found her and she captured these memories for us. I hope she can do the same for you.

I have worked with many photographers over my years of doing animal rescue, and Nina truly stands out. Not only is she skilled, she is also excellent with dogs and getting even the most stubborn ones to look at the camera. Nina is very patient and calm, which is important when working with animals. We have brought dogs of ALL different temperaments to her and she has done a fantastic job working with each and every one of them and their needs. I have not met a photographer who has worked as seamlessly with dogs as Nina - she will do whatever it takes!

I called Nina the day after my golden retriever was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. I burst into tears on the phone. She was amazing. She talked me through everything- what to wear, things to consider etc., and was able to fit us in the next week. She was phenomenal with my dog and the pictures were outstanding. You can tell she has a passion for her work. I've had professional photos taken with other pets before and these were the best by far. Nina was able to capture my girl and our relationship perfectly. Will definitely use her again in the future. Worth every penny.
