Sirius Studio - Rogers Texas Pet Portrait Artist - Nationwide
Artist's Statement
I love painting animals. I have been drawing and painting all of my life. I have taken a break while raising our children and working a full-time job. I now have plenty of time on my hands to jump back into doing the thing I love most, creating art. Animals are as individual as humans. In my wildlife painting and pet portraits, I try to capture each animal’s uniqueness, as well as the character of the species they represent.
I am inspired by nature, wildlife, and pets. I try to focus on small things, like a faraway look, a tilt of the head, or a gesture, that gives you the impression of your pet. My art is an expression of my appreciation for the intelligence and beauty of the natural world. I work from photographs so a few of your best photographs will be needed.
Please allow for a four-week window of completion. I work with colored pencils, pastels, and acrylics.
Please contact and book me on Petworks. Thank you.
