Compassionate Pet Loss Grief Therapy - Nationwide by Sierra Trainor
Losing a beloved pet can be one of the most painful and misunderstood forms of grief. As a licensed psychologist specializing in pet loss and bereavement, I offer a compassionate, grounded space to help you navigate this deeply personal experience.
These 50-minute therapy sessions are designed to support you through the emotional, psychological, and relational impact of pet loss, whether your grief is recent or has been carried for some time.
In our work together, you can expect:
-A warm, nonjudgmental space where your grief is fully honored
-Support in processing emotions such as sadness, guilt, anger, or numbness
-Guidance in understanding the attachment bond with your pet and what the loss represents
-Coping strategies tailored to your unique grieving process
-Meaning-making and gentle support in adjusting to life after loss
Grief is not something we get over; it's something we learn to carry and something to move through with care. My approach integrates evidence-based psychological practices with deep respect for the human-animal bond.
Sessions are 50 minutes and offered via secure, HIPAA compliant telehealth.
