The conversation I had with Melissa was at a most perfect time... my dad was not well at the time, and it was comforting to hear how the beautiful creatures (a particular cat) in my life and my dad were thinking and feeling.
It's amazing to know that animals understand us, when we speak to them and share our lives with them. It was a great gift to hear what Melissa shared with me at such a vulnerable time. She shared things that she would not have known, it was a special conversation.
