Laura was a tremendous help to me. She asked for photos which I gladly sent to her. I was glad she asked so she could see my beautiful Maggie. Laura emphasized that all pet parents second guess themselves and that some of my fears, guilt, and sorrow are common. She asked if I had an honor box or album of Maggie. Not yet, but those were good ideas. She worked with me to modify my final memory of Maggie from the vet's exam room at the end of her life, to a collage of images that make up a "perfect" picture of Maggie in the garden catching some sun. She mentioned that I need to grieve and breathe. The perfect picture visualization was awesome and I think of that picture often. And she recommended that I learn to accept that I did everything I could do. I am more at peace but still grieving. I look forward to another session with Laura soon. I highly recommend her!
