Teaching: At least 56 hours split across basic, intermediate, and advanced classes.
Observation: 35+ hours observing private training and advanced classes.
Shelter Work: 60 hours minimum, assisting with behavioral assessments and training shelter dogs.
Other: 20 hours of animal care/administrative assistance.
Discussion and review: 12 hours.
Final assessments:
Written paper on a selected special interest topic (2500 words after reading 3+ books).
A practical final exam involves training goals for your dog.
