Training with Heart and Purpose

Our classes have no expiration date. We track your attendance, so there's no pressure—just progress. While we don’t offer refunds, we do offer flexibility and ongoing support.

Class Details:

Each class (except for puppy sessions, as they tire more easily) runs for approximately 1.5 hours.

This includes time for dog socialization and a Q&A session with Kat and other expert trainers.

We Train in Levels—Not Cookie-Cutter Programs

Our approach is personalized. You and your dog choose the pace, the goals, and the behaviors you want to work on. This isn’t the one-size-fits-all model you might find at chain pet stores.

We often work with dogs who’ve previously attended training programs at places like PetSmart, or with "Balanced Trainers", and have unfortunately developed stress-based behavioral issues that must be addressed.

We believe the best-behaved dogs start off right—and that means having fun while learning.

What is a Trained Dog?

A Trained Dog understands the rules and enjoys following them.

A Trained Dog is welcome in public and social situations.

A Trained Dog always comes when called.

A Trained Dog lives with less stress and more confidence.

A Trained Dog becomes a true helper around the house.

A Trained Dog is happy to relax and “chill” with you.

A Trained Dog is far less likely to end up in an animal control facility.

Let us help you and your dog build the kind of bond that makes every day better, for both of you.

Private Training In Your Home
$125 Per 30 Minutes

We understand that time constraints, transportation challenges, or difficulty getting your dog in the car can make attending regularly scheduled classes difficult. That’s why Kat’s trainers offer private in-home training sessions tailored to your needs.

An initial 2-hour evaluation is required for behavior issues, including foundational handling techniques.

Please note: This step is mandatory, and exceptions will not be made.

Depending on your preference, follow-up training sessions can be scheduled either at our training center or in the comfort of your home.

Private Training In Our Training Center - Initial Session
$250 Per 90 Minutes

Initial Consultation and Evaluation

Your first visit includes a comprehensive consultation and evaluation session for your dog. During this time, we’ll assess your dog’s current behavior, discuss your needs and goals, and develop a personalized training plan tailored to your lifestyle.

Foundational Behaviors

Early training focuses on essential skills such as:

Name Recognition

Attention

Sit

Down

Stay

Wait

Leave It

As your dog progresses, additional behaviors can be introduced to meet your evolving needs and preferences.

Flexible Scheduling

We understand that regular group classes may not fit everyone’s schedule, though they are beneficial for socialization. To accommodate your needs, Kat’s trainers can schedule private sessions at your convenience, including refresher or “tune-up” sessions.

Behavioral Issues

An initial 2-hour evaluation and handling session is required for dogs with behavioral concerns. This session allows us to assess the issues and implement appropriate strategies thoroughly.

Please note: there are no exceptions to this requirement.

Depending on your preference, follow-up sessions can be scheduled at our training center or in the comfort of your home.

Board & Train - 7 Days
$1,680 Per Week

Our 7-day Board & Train program provides structured, progressive training in a controlled environment tailored to each dog’s pace and learning style.

Dogs are exposed to basic obedience skills, and we focus on gradually building duration, distance, and distraction for each behavior. Training is not rushed—each dog advances only when it is ready, ensuring a strong foundation is developed.

Training builds week over week, always starting from where the dog is currently, with an emphasis on consistent, meaningful progress.

To ensure lasting results and continued development, owners/handlers must participate in four hours of hands-on classes following each training week. During these sessions, you’ll learn how to reinforce your dog’s newly acquired skills and continue their growth at home.

Remember: behaviors only become reliable through consistent repetition and practice—we’re here to guide both you and your dog every step of the way.

Weeks:

Board & Train - 14 Days
$2,520 Per Session

While progress begins in the first week of Board & Train, most dogs benefit significantly from a complete two-week program. The extended training allows for reinforcement of learned behaviors and greater reliability in real-life situations.

Our kennel-based training is tailored to each dog’s pace. We focus on foundational obedience skills, gradually increasing each behavior's duration, distance, and distraction. Training is progressive — each week builds on the last, ensuring steady, meaningful improvement.

Owners/handlers must attend four hours of hands-on instruction each week to ensure long-term success. These sessions help transfer the dog’s new skills into the home environment and help the owner confidently handle their dog.

Consistency and repetition are key. Our 14-day Board & Train program is designed to build strong, reliable, and lasting behaviors.

Number Of Sessions:

Board & Train - 21 Days
$3,600 Per Session

Our 21-day Board & Train program is designed to build a strong foundation in obedience, tailored to each dog's individual needs and pace.

While in our care, dogs are exposed to basic obedience training, focusing on gradually increasing duration, distance, and distractions for each behavior. We meet each dog where they are in their training journey and move forward from that point, ensuring steady, confidence-building progress.

Training Progression

Training is cumulative—each week builds on the skills developed the previous week, always paced to the dog’s learning speed and comfort level. This thoughtful progression ensures lasting behavioral improvement rather than rushed or forced compliance.

Owner Involvement

To ensure long-term success, owners or handlers must participate in at least four hours of hands-on classes during the program. These sessions help transfer the dog’s newly learned behaviors to the home environment and equip owners with the skills to maintain and reinforce training at home.

Consistency is Key

We believe that behaviors only become reliable through repetition and consistent practice. Our program is structured to provide that repetition in a structured, supportive environment.

Board & Train - 1 Day Tune-Up
$150 Per Day

This is a drop-off training day designed to focus on one specific issue you're experiencing with your pup. Perfect for addressing targeted challenges, this session allows your dog to work one-on-one with a professional trainer.

Drop-off: 9:00 AM sharp

Pick-up: Between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM

Training time: Approximately 3 hours throughout the day, tailored to your dog’s pace

While the training remains dog-led, we emphasize purposeful exposure, which is significant for specific breeds. This single-day program offers an excellent opportunity to fine-tune behaviors and reinforce positive habits.

Days:

Boarding - 1-Day Tune-Up
$75 Per Day

While Fido is already staying with us for boarding, we've noticed an issue that needs attention during his stay. To help resolve this while you're away, we offer a Boarding Day Tune-Up—a focused training session to address specific behavior concerns.

This includes:

3 individual training sessions with Fido

An additional fee is applied on top of your regular boarding charges

Many pet owners don’t have the tools or time to communicate the behavior expectations their dog needs effectively. That’s where we come in. During this tune-up, we’ll work on shaping more positive responses and more transparent communication with Fido.

Sometimes, just one day is enough to make a difference. If more work is needed, you can book additional tune-up days during future boarding stays.

Please let us know if you want to proceed with the 1-Day Tune-Up.
