Pet Loss Bereavement Support - Nationwide
Specializing in affordable, compassionate pet loss support. I am a Certified Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist and life-long animal lover who understands how difficult the death of a pet can be. As a result of my own grief journeys over the years, I am very passionate about helping other pet parents as they navigate the many emotions and challenges that are a natural part of losing a best friend, constant companion, and much-loved member of the family.
Losing a Pet
For many, the death of their pet is one of the hardest things they will ever go through. Some of the many issues that the grieving pet parent may be faced with, particularly in the early days and weeks after a loss, include:
- guilt;
- extreme sadness;
- lack of energy;
- sleep disturbances;
- change in appetite;
- mental confusion;
- rumination / re-playing distressing thoughts;
...and more.
How I Can Help
I offer one-on-one pet loss support for adult pet parents (21 years of age or older) throughout the US via Zoom. Sessions provide a safe, non-judgmental space in which you can share what you are experiencing and feel supported as you grieve the loss of your cherished animal companion. The goal of each session is to help identify and work through what you are experiencing, and explore coping strategies to help promote healing.
In addition to virtual pet loss support services, I have written several booklets on pet loss grief, including a 45-page Pet Loss Grief Workbook as a guide to processing grief, and a Pet Loss Guilt Toolkit for working toward releasing the guilt and self-blame that are very often associated with losing a pet. Please contact me for more information.
What to Expect
- All pet loss support sessions with me are strictly confidential.
- The cost is $35 per full, 60-minute session or $25 per 30-minute "mini" session.
- Sessions are conducted via Zoom.
- Each session includes any digital materials or other resources that I think may be beneficial to you.
How to Book a Session with Me
For more information or to book a session with me, please start by clicking the SEND MESSAGE link under my profile picture to send me a brief description of your loss and the type of support you are seeking. I will be back in touch with you as soon as possible (usually within the same day).
Warmest regards,
Sandra

Oh my goodness!!! I have so many good things to say about Sandra! I lost 2 animals in one year and she has always made me feel better and seen. I love her so much. She is so gentle with her words. She also has very good ideas on what to do to help things in your hard times with pet loss. I am so thankful to know her and call her a friend. She made an amazing work book that I use to write about my animals. She is so good at helping you talk through your emotions and feelings. I will always continue to see her. She makes me feel better when my heart is hurting and breaking more and more. She is very personal as well and respects you. I love her to say the least!!!♥️
