Jill is Internationally Certified as a Small Animal Massage Therapist by the Ojai School of Canine Massage 250 hr certification program with 100 hrs of supervised hands on training in Acupressure, Swedish massage, T Touch, myofascial release, Tui' na, scar tissue massage, tapotement, passive stretching, gait assessment, and first aid. Jill has begun the process of becoming Nationally Board Certified in Small Animal Massage.
She is both a human and animal Reiki practitioner, and is a Shelter Animal Reiki Association approved teacher. Jill has a degree in Biological Sciences. She is a former public school science teacher and is looking forward to teaching classes for pet owners and shelter staff this year.
For massage, certain conditions, deep tissue work, or after a recent surgery/injury, we require your Veterinarian to sign a referral form(can be downloaded from our website.) Also, we do NOT massage horses, only Reiki with horses. After massage/reiki sessions, we will email you a very detailed anatomical report that you can show your veterinarian or insurance company.
