I moved my dog, Chopper, from California to Melbourne, Australia, and Starwood made the entire process much less stressful. It is definitely pricey but considering that the cost includes costs I would have had to pay if I had to do it on my own (permits, flights, etc.) while saving me the time and headaches of figuring out if I am doing everything correctly and the possibility of making a mistake, it was more than worth it. That said, Starwood Pet Travel streamlined the process as much as humanely possible. Our pet travel coordinator, Sarah, helped transport our Boston Terrier, from DC to London and was enormous help, including ensuring we had the proper kennel for our dog to travel, checking to make sure we made all the proper vet appointments and reviewing our paperwork before travel, talking directly with our vet about the type of tests and paperwork needed, booking our dog's travel, coordinating transportation to and from the airport, and continuous communication throughout the transport process. Our dog arrived to London looking completely content and healthy, which was the biggest relief. I couldn't be more grateful for the help Starwood provided (and at a reasonable price) and would recommend them to anyone moving a pet abroad. - San Francisco, CA - May 2025
