Katie Murphy, LMHC: Certified in Pet Loss Grief - Greenfield, MA
Of the many types of relationships that I specialize in, the one dearest to my heart is the relationship between dog and human. With our beloved animals, there exists a special bond that many people are fortunate enough to experience in their lives. Out of this special attachment comes pure joy, but it can also lead to wrenching heartache.
Having both personal and professional experience with pet loss grief, I want to assure you that you are not alone. I have personally navigated and worked through the difficult emotions associated with losing my beloved friends.
In Massachusetts, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a certified grief educator, certified in pet loss grief, and a proud member of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB). Providing unconditional compassion and a safe space, I am passionate about supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate the loss of their furry companion.
I offer 1:1 HIPPA-compliant telehealth sessions for individuals located throughout Massachusetts and accept insurance, including: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts.
