Good Dog! Private Mobile Dog Grooming - New York, NY
Good Dog! Private Pet Grooming is a house call dog grooming service for small dogs. My regular service area is the upper west side of Manhattan. I specialize in grooming small dogs in the comfort of your home. Your dog will appreciate staying home for grooming. The salon has many smells, sounds, and dogs that can cause anxiety for your dog. With Good Dog! your pet will be bathed and groomed straight through without any wait time or crate time. My goal is a positive grooming experience with as little stress as possible.
Full Grooming includes bath, blow dry, brush out, comb out, nail trimming, pads trimmed, sanitary trim, and haircut. Anal gland expression if requested. Teeth brushing if you supply a toothbrush. Dremel may also be used to buff nails. I ask you to provide a clean, dry towel. I use kitchen sink and counter top. The fee is $200 per dog.
Grooming appointment typically takes 90 minutes to 2 hours. Additional fees may be added if grooming extends past 2 hours due to behavior, condition of coat, type of coat, hairstyle, or size of dog.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
If you like a fluffy dog, brush and comb your dog especially when your dog gets wet or after you give your dog a bath. Otherwise, you may end up with a matted dog and a very short haircut from your groomer.

My dream is for all dogs to have a positive grooming experience. This is my second career and I truly love to care for dogs. I have 2 dogs myself, a poodle mix and a chihuahua mix.
