Custom Pet Portrait Oil Paintings - Nationwide
While I currently work in my Providence, RI studio, I began making commissioned portraiture in New York City a decade ago after completing my MFA from The New York Academy of Art. Since then, I have painted over 160 commissioned oil paintings. Whether playfully imbued with jest, or classically inspired, expressive and soulful — I’ll work to bring your portrait vision to life.
Each painting is made from photo references using oil paint on canvas, stretched by hand over aluminum stretcher bars, and safely delivered to you within several months. Before getting started, we’ll discuss the reference photos, my current lead time, sizing, pricing and shipping.
Your commissioned portrait will be executed using an Old Master technique, revealing a person, or pet, that is ennobled, rich with spirit — and, most importantly — present.
