Caring, Calm In-Home Care - Los Angeles, CA

Member since Dec 2025

Leaving your pet at home shouldn’t mean disrupting their comfort, routine, or sense of security.
Your pet’s home is where they feel safest — and that’s exactly where I provide calm, attentive, in-home overnight care.

I’m a dedicated in-home pet sitter specializing in overnight stays, offering consistent, thoughtful care tailored to each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. I’m self-employed with a flexible, remote schedule, which allows me to be fully present, reliable, and committed during bookings in your home.

What truly sets me apart is the level of care and emotional attentiveness I bring to every stay. I take the time to help pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. My goal is not just to “watch” your pets, but to maintain their routine, comfort, and sense of calm so they feel secure in your absence.

Before any overnight booking, I like to:

Meet with you in advance

Spend time in your pet’s home environment

Do a full walk-through together to understand daily routines, house rules, feeding schedules, medications, and any special needs

This helps ensure continuity, trust, and peace of mind for both you and your pets.

I have experience with:

Administering medication (with clear instructions)

Caring for senior pets and adjusting routines to match their energy levels and comfort

Special dietary needs, including measured portions and hand-feeding when required

Gentle massage and relaxation techniques for pets who enjoy them

Maintaining clean, calm spaces, including deep-cleaning litter boxes and keeping feeding areas tidy

Cats are wonderfully unique, and I truly enjoy taking the time to understand each cat’s individual personality — whether playful, shy, affectionate, or independent. I bring a calm, patient presence that helps cats feel relaxed and secure in their own home, without forcing interaction or disrupting their rhythm.

With dogs, care is active, engaging, and always tailored to their energy level and preferences. This may include walks, park outings, playtime, fetch, toys, tug-of-war, cuddle breaks, treats (as permitted), belly rubs, and plenty of affection. My aim is always for dogs to end the day content, relaxed, and well cared for.

I’m happy to provide updates as often as you’d like — texts, photos, or videos — so you can stay connected and reassured while you’re away.

For additional reviews and references, I also have an established profile on Rover, where you can learn more about my experience and see feedback from past pet parents:

Please feel free to share your pet’s routine, medical needs, behaviors, and any special requirements. My approach is simple: I care for your pets and your home as if they were my own — with respect, consistency, and genuine affection.

How did you hone your craft?

My experience in pet sitting began about ten years ago through a close friend who was an established cat sitter. She invited me to assist her during a two-week in-home cat-sitting assignment, where I learned the fundamentals of daily care — feeding, litter box maintenance, administering medication, and maintaining cats’ routines in their own home. Since then, I’ve focused exclusively on in-home overnight care, tailoring every stay to each pet’s routine, comfort, and emotional well-being. I just booked my first assignment through Rover, and I continue to care for pets through referrals as well. Last month, I cared for a poodle mix for two weeks who had a persistent barking issue. I discussed a plan with the owner, researched poodle mix behavioral patterns, consulted with other owners, and implemented a strategy with her blessing. By the end of the assignment, there was a visible reduction in barking both inside the home and on walks. Experiences like this inspire me to continually learn and educate myself about the pets I care for, ensuring I provide attentive, knowledgeable, and effective overnight care. Over the past ten years, I’ve honed my craft by combining hands-on experience, owner collaboration, and research to deliver calm, reliable, in-home care. I genuinely enjoy helping pets feel safe, settled, and loved while their owners are away.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Consistency is key. Pets thrive when they understand boundaries and routines, so it’s important to be clear and consistent in your expectations. Firmly establishing yourself as a confident leader helps your pet feel secure. When working on training or behavior, always reward good behavior. Make sure you shower them with lots of love and affection, so they feel safe, secure, and know that you still love them

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I love giving pets gentle deep-tissue massages — and so far, every furry friend I’ve met seems to adore them! I always check first to make sure they’re comfortable, but once they relax, it’s pure bliss: rolls, sighs, and total contentment. It’s one of my favorite ways to create a calm, happy, and loved pet — and it’s relaxing for me too!
