Bereavement and Pet Loss Grief Counseling - Nationwide

I have been a psychotherapist working with adults for over 40 years, and as my own spiritual development has grown, I found I could easily talk to animals, alive and those who have died; distance doesn't matter in this realm. Basically what I am doing is translating energy ( that I sense from the animal) into English. I send you a transcript of my conversation I had with your beloved pet and my impressions of them. As an empath, ( someone who feels the energy of others ) I will sense their emotions and can report that to you.

I have helped animals with changes in their life situation, problems they are having with their owners, etc. " So called behavior problems" have sometimes changed immediately after the pet ( particularly true with horses) has been listened to and their owners have changed their behavior !! I have helped with the grieving process, whether a human or animal was lost, and know from my own experience how the pure love of an animal can get to your heart and what it is like to lose that.

I don't guarantee physical healing ( although I am often told animals improve in many ways after our conversation ) and I can send them energy which often is healing. I always ask your permission to do this. Let's talk and decide how I can best help.

💙 There are moments in the grief process when what you need most is simply to be heard by someone who truly understands — someone who knows that the loss of a pet is not a small thing, that the silence in the home is real, and that what you are carrying deserves the same compassion and attention as any profound loss. That is what Ann offers.

What Ann Can Help You With

Pet loss grief arrives differently for everyone — and Ann works with each client according to where they are in their own process, without a fixed agenda or a predetermined timeline. Sessions with Ann typically address processing the immediate emotional aftermath of losing a pet, navigating anticipatory grief for those preparing to say goodbye to an aging or seriously ill companion, working through guilt and doubt around end-of-life decisions including euthanasia, finding meaningful and personal ways to honor your pet's memory, adjusting to a daily routine that has been fundamentally altered by their absence, and helping other family members — including children and surviving pets — move through the loss in their own way. If you are not sure exactly what you need, that is completely normal. Ann's first session is designed to help you find that out together.

Why Book With Ann
