How did you hone your craft?

I have studied under several well respected trainers and interned with them to learn the skills. I have also worked in shelter environments to help the animals there.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

You can work too quickly but you wont work too slowly. Go at the animal's pace and not at the pace you think you should be at.
