Picket Fence Veterinary Acupuncture - Aurora, CO
Dr. Abby started Picket Fence Veterinary Acupuncture to provide an integrative medicine service in the comfort of your pet’s home. She offers acupuncture, massage, therapeutic laser, pulsed electromagnetic therapy, essential oil therapy, and nutritional/supplement management. Her goal is to work with your family veterinarian to manage your pet’s overall well-being and provide pain relief.
She wants your pet to be comfortable and relaxed throughout treatment. She will follow their lead; if they want to lay down or reposition so does she and Dr. Abby will treat what areas she has access to. She wants her patients to realize treatment leads to pain relief. She takes the time to get to know your pet and your goals for therapy.
Dr. Abby is originally from Wisconsin; born and raised. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduation, she moved to Colorado and started practicing in emergency medicine for several years, then moved to general practice. She became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture, fell in love with it, and decided to start her own practice.
Costs are $250 for an initial consult which includes treatment and lasts 2 hours ($75 for every additional 30 minutes). Follow-up sessions are $155 and a package of 4 sessions is $585.
