Phoenix Bird Horsemanship and Bodywork - Alexandria, MN
Darcie Pfeffer, owner of Phoenix Bird Horsemanship and Bodywork, is dedicated to the care and welfare of the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of your horse.
Darcie is certified in equine massage therapy through Equine Align Academy in Colorado (formerly Prairie Winds: The Art of Equine Massage and Bodywork). Massage therapy is capable of improving performance ability as well as preventing injury and benefiting recovery time.
The benefits of massage therapy for horses is immense. Stress on the body caused by injury, trauma, overwork and daily life can manifest in tension, restricted movement, and compensation patterns. The result is a horse that cannot move freely in his/her body and is not at peace in their mind. Massage releases the tension and restrictions, allowing the body to reset to its natural alignment and allows it to move with ease, freedom, rhythm, grace, and suppleness. All horses in any discipline at any level can benefit from massage sessions!
