Our pets take care of us in many capacities, they have a tangible impact on our overall well-being. Sometimes our pets need the rehabilitation services that humans have the luxury to have access to. At Peak Performance Pet Therapy our goal is happy physically active fur babies. Human Manual Therapy techniques are used to increase mobility of joints and muscles in animals, resulting in improved function. Animal rehabilitation can reduce pain and enhance recovery from injury, surgery, degenerative diseases, age related diseases, and obesity, or just give your pet improved overall vitality and quality of life.
Peak Performance Pet Therapy uses a specialized form of manual therapy delivered with the hands instead of a device or machine. The therapist Dawn Lipori is uniquely trained in hands on treatment based on Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Pathology, Neurology, Viscera, the Lymphatic System, the Endocrine System, the Cranial Sacral System, and Embryology. Through evaluation and programs of treatment, she can help alleviate existing problems and provide preventive health care for animals with a variety of needs.
Whatever your Pet needs, peak Performance Pet Therapy will assess you from head to tail or hoof so that every joint or tissue lesion that biomechanically affects the area of discomfort can be taken into consideration and then treated. Although I mainly service Dogs, Horses, and Cats, any animal could benefit from Manual Therapy.
