How did you hone your craft?

From the very earliest years I was connected to animals, cats, dogs, raccoons, rabbits, etc. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, my intuition developed exponentially, allowing me to "listen" and provide healing even remotely to any willing, sentient being. I've been licensed in Massage for 30 years. Rescuing horses nearly 5 years ago, starting with no experience, tested my intuition and healing skills to the max, and thus my ability to hear their voices and needs has leapt far beyond what I was doing previously. I work with my horses and other people's horses every day of the week, and so that education continues, with my full dedication to the wellbeing of all animals and their humans.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Number one TIP: Allow all the time that your pet requires to give you their response when you request something of them. Give over your need to have them respond quickly. They need to process the request and discern what you want them to do. If they are not able to give you the response you want, remember they are not wrong. They are simply confused and your best response is to work to be more compassionately clear with them before asking something of them. This is the best approach to a balanced connection with every pet you have. Enjoy the journey!

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I will give you full integrity and honesty when it comes to what your pet is asking me to share with you. Whatever they want to share, they are asking that they be heard and considered in their presence. So my first responsibility is to support a truthful, compassionate connection. I am dedicated to delivering as clear a message as I can, for your pet and you to trust.

Very thankful for my session with Erika. Erika is incredibly savvy with listening to and handling an animal with behavioral problems, and offered eye opening insights and training methods that I'm excited to employ. She navigated me through some techniques live on camera which helped my cat and myself get more comfortable with each other. Much gratitude, and I highly recommend!
