Hi! My name is Carla and I paint pets! I work directly from photos and paint on canvas in acrylic paints using a loose brushstroke and painterly style. The most common compliment I receive is that I have the ability to capture a pet's personality and spirit in each painting. I always respond, "it's all in those sweet soulful little eyes, once you capture that, the rest is all just fur".

My portraits start at $150 for a 12x12 canvas painting. As the size of the canvas or number of pets increases, so does the cost. You can order right from my website at paintingsthings.org.

I live in Charlotte, NC with my wife and 3 dogs; Arthur, Morgan and Dexter. I've been a pet portrait artist since 2009 and have loved every second of it.
