Natalie Jo Wright, Pet Portrait Artist - Nationwide
Pet portraits are an expression of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. There is no bond quite like the ones we make with our animal friends. My goal is to show off that BIG spirit in a big way, for I specialize in large-scale portraits. You won't be able to walk by your painting every day without a moment of gratitude and contemplation. I want this piece of art to have meaning for you and your family now and for generations to come.
If you are local to the Madison area, I like to photograph your pet myself. This gives me an opportunity to meet them and to get the perfect photographs to work from. Not local to the Madison area? No problem! Once you are ready to dive into the commission, I can talk you through the steps of the perfect photograph.
Options can be discussed regarding size, the number of animals per painting, and background pattern. The cost will be determined on an individual basis. This does not include local WI State sales tax or shipping.
+ I will consider doing more than one animal on the painting. Please see my Pet Portraits for examples.
+ The work is acrylic paint and acrylic METALLIC paint on heavyweight Reeves BFK archival paper. I highly recommend having the work professionally framed. (as of 2023 I am using OIL paint and my turn around time is much longer...)
+ The turnaround time is 4-6 months if I'm using oil...
+ A 50% non-refundable deposit is required, along with a signed contract, before I begin the work. A line drawing is sketched up of the basic outline of the painting. This will be approved by my client before moving forward with the final work.
+ Please contact me through Petworks, with any questions you may have! Thanks so much for your interest!
