Morgan McMurdy, CPDT-KA, B.S. - Professional Dog Trainer - Denver, CO
We all want to enjoy life with our dogs. But we do ask a lot of our pups in our busy human world. This isn't always easy for them to understand. Unwanted behaviors can develop from a lack of clear communication that can be disruptive, harmful, and impact your (and your dog’s) quality of life. Whether you are looking to change an unwanted behavior, build a strong foundation in a new puppy, or just improve your pup’s known skills, I can help you make achievable goals and apply a plan to get you there!
My training method is based on the science of behavior modification, using methods proven to be the most humane, effective and provide lasting results. I train without the use of harsh or intimidating tactics and focus on understanding how dogs learn, building a relationship, and clarifying communication so that we can live our best lives alongside our furry friends. Each dog is unique and training is never a one-size-fits-all fix. I tailor training to work with your dog’s unique motivators and learning styles to ensure we're following the most effective and efficient plan possible.
I follow the CCPDT’s Code of Ethics, which ensures that all dogs (and people!) under my care are treated with respect and kindness. Contact me today to chat more and find out how I can help! A more harmonious life alongside your pup is within grasp.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
You get out what you put in most of the time. It can be hard to put a lot in sometimes, though, and even we professionals can struggle! Keep a collaborative, open mind, and reach out for help at even the tiniest signs of a problem.
