How did you hone your craft?
I learned how to take care of an old dog by being in love with a young dog and committing myself to every step of her journey. My precious Sophie dee died in 2008 and the work that I do in hospice and end-of-life care began after this little old lady became an angel. They change the trajectory of my career and it is her legacy to understand, to love, and to provide the best quality of life possible, with dignity and respect.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
It’s all about them. Our service is centered around personal patient specific care without time limitations.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I never euthanize a pet with a treatable condition. I believe that our pets final moments with us are just as precious as they are heartbreaking, and it is an honor and a privilege to be there with you during this special time.
