Higgins and Friends is a pet sitting service specializing in the care of cats and dogs. As a former vet tech, Jill the owner takes care of pets with special needs, such as fluid therapy, injections, diabetes management, etc. She specializes in the care of cats, including medical and behavioral needs. Jill is known by most of her clients as “the cat whisperer”.
H&F provides service to Crofton, Odenton, Annapolis, Severna Park, northern Bowie and surrounding areas. Services include basic care (feed/water, walks, out in the backyard, litter box cleaning), medication visits, dog walking, pet taxi and house sitting. Because of her veterinary background, she can administer any type of medication, including subcutaneous fluids and injections.
H&F's sitters are all over 21 and experienced in the care of all pets. They have experience in one or more of the following areas: veterinary, animal rescue, kennel/ dog daycare.

I've been working with animals all my life. I worked with horses right out of college. I volunteered at the National Zoo for 11 years. I started working for a veterinarian in 1998. I've had 10 years as a vet tech. I have volunteered with an animal rescue since 2002.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Learn as much about the species that you have as possible.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
