I work in pastels and have been creating dog and horse portraits for 10 years. I have a minor in Fine Arts , a career in Technical Illustration, and an associate degree in Commercial Art.

I currently sell my services through my FB page for $200 for approximately 8x10" size portrait. Since I am retired from my Illustration career, I am wanting to do pet portraits full time and to build my business. Many of my portraits are memorial portraits. I love helping my clients honor their pets through a piece of art and to capture their pet's personality and soul that they can enjoy for a lifetime.

Pastels on wood

$ 200.00 Per Animal

I use pastels on wooden 8"x8" squares. This is a nice alternative to the traditional painting which needs to be framed with a mat and glass. These squares are lightweight and can be used on a tabletop with a picture holder or put on a wall using just a wall hanger strip (sticky). You get the same quality art and a fixatif is used to prevent smearing.
