I specialize in science informed, ethical, and effective animal training and behavior modification. I work with dogs, cats, and other small animals and their humans who are interested in basic training all the way through to the modification of unwanted behaviors. In other words, I help humans and their pawed roommates live happily together.

I hold degrees in Animal Sciences (B.S.) and Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare (M.Sc.). I am a Certified Behavior Consultant - Canine (CBCC-KA) with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT). But more than that, I have worked with animals and the humans they live with for over 15 years, granting the ability and knowledge to work with a wide variety of complex and difficult behaviors. My philosophy is simple: every single individual (I’m including animals and humans!) has their own needs, their own wants, and their own opinions to make their coexistence a success. I recognize that each animal, each human, and each situation is unique and individual. I know what it’s like to feel confused, helpless, and frustrated by the pets you live with, and I am here to help.
