ALL SPECIES ANIMAL REIKI - Ann Arbor, MI
MY SERVICE COMBINES REIKI WITH ANIMAL COMMUNICATION. When Reiki came into my life in 2014, I found that these two energy-based modalities are natural partners. When a Reiki session is scheduled, I begin by connecting with the animal and asking whether he or she is interested in receiving the healing. This shows respect, and reassures the animal that I have their best interests at heart. For more information on my Animal Communication services, please visit my other PetWorks page: Peggy Talks to Animals.
WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki (Ray-Kee) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki has been shown to be beneficial for a vast assortment of illnesses, fears, injuries and other imbalances since it works with body, mind and spirit. It can be used successfully with humans, animals, plants, and all other living things.
ANIMAL REIKI SESSIONS
Reiki feels so good that it encourages animals to relax as energetic imbalances are cleared to allow new and more well-balanced patterns of health and wellness to emerge. Physical contact is not necessary -- in fact, my sessions are routinely done using "distance Reiki" from my home. Even at a distance, the animal is free to choose or decline treatment, and can decide whether to rest or be active during the session.
HOW CAN REIKI HELP MY ANIMAL?
PLEASE NOTE: Reiki therapy compliments and supports BUT DOES NOT REPLACE veterinary care.
Reiki can help animals cope with fearfulness, anxiety, stress, and pain. It eases recovery from injury and surgery, and it's helpful for the whole family in end-of-life support and easing transition.
ANIMAL REIKI ATTUNEMENTS
I've attuned quite a few animals who have decided they'd like to be able to do Reiki on their own, without waiting for a human practitioner to be available. An attunement can be accomplished in about 15 minutes, but you'll probably notice your pet resting -- or moving around -- more than usual for a day or so while he or she adjusts to the new energies they have received. After that, don't be surprised if your pet does Reiki on YOU the next time you're not feeling well!
WHAT I'LL NEED FROM YOU
First, a brief description of why you'd like your animal to receive Reiki and/or an attunement. Second, a suggested day and time for the session. Third, a recent photograph of your animal -- which shows its face -- to help us connect.
I retired in 2002, and it's so satisfying to see my "second career" -- helping animals -- blossoming so nicely! Is there anything I can help you and your animals with today?
