Play dates are midday every Monday through Friday with free pick up and delivery for Downtown and Midtown Memphis.

Boarding is available 24/7 (boarders are automatically included in play dates during their stay). They have the run of the house & yard, & are not crated unless a puppy, or preferred by the owner...or the pup themselves.

I am a professional dog trainer & certified in pet cpr & first aid.

Boarding

$ 40.00 Per Day

Free pick up and delivery if Downtown or Midtown Memphis. My stress-free, no-cage boarding is very popular, especially if your dog is not fond of a crate. I typically do not crate them unless they are a puppy-in-training, or they prefer to sleep in a crate. Otherwise they have free run of the house, and can sleep with me, on a dog bed, or pretty much wherever they like. Play dates are included for free during the middle of their stay (1/2 price for day of pick-up or drop-off).

Free pick up and delivery if Downtown or Midtown Memphis. Play dates take place in my own fenced yard, so we do not have to worry about injuries or attacks from strange/unknown dogs. Pick ups begin between 10-11am and end between 2-4pm. It is a full-on, interactive time of play that includes various doggy toys, ball, of course, doggy pools, & for the high energy pups, plenty of running & wrestling with their friends! The pups return home good and tired. I’ve been told by more than one client that our play dates are much more effective than doggie daycares they have used. We do not have scheduled “nap time” or break time”. The dogs can play as much as they want the entire time. For rainy days or days where the temperature is too hot or too cold, we take it inside. Dogs NEED to be around other dogs to be well-balanced and socialized, and their energy needs to be expended every day to keep them from resorting to bad behavior and/or becoming destructive. I have had great success in helping shy, anxious and under socialized dogs to become, happy, comfortable, & well balanced members of their family

How did you hone your craft?

My first pet was a rooster (@ age two), LOL. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. In 2012, after a second layoff, I decided to do what I love. I started a dog walking & pet sitting business. I am an avid reader of several behaviorists & trainers.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

When it comes to dogs, SOCIALIZATION is key! If you want to lessen or possibly even get rid of unwanted behavior, let your dog play with other dogs. A lot of times it’s simply a matter of getting rid of pent up energy. Many dogs do not get the exercise they really need.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

My pets are my babies and I treat my client’s pets the same way. I have several references from years-long clients!
